Quicklatch piling spread handling tool
The Quicklatch tool from LM Handling is a multi-purpose lifting and handling connector designed to remove all lifting slings and shackles from onshore and offshore operations.
The Quicklatch uses a male connector and equipment/structure mounted female receptacles to significantly optimise the lifting operations throughout a project, reducing vessel time and eliminating personnel intervention.
With a capacity of up to 2,000Te the Quicklatch tool can be used to handle all the equipment on a typical offshore jacket installation and also install the jacket itself. As with all LM Handling equipment, various sensors and monitoring equipment can be mounted to the Quicklatch including cameras, load monitors, attitude sensors and positioning sensors.
