The Quicklatch tool is a multi-purpose lifting and handling connector designed to remove all lifting slings and shackles from onshore and offshore operations.
The Quicklatch uses a male connector and equipment/structure mounted female receptacles to significantly optimise the lifting operations throughout a project, reducing vessel time and eliminating personnel intervention.
With a capacity of up to 2,000Te the Quicklatch tool can be used to handle all the equipment on a typical offshore jacket installation and also install the jacket itself. Various sensors and monitoring equipment can be mounted to the Quicklatch including cameras, load monitors, attitude sensors and positioning sensors.
