Acteon offers a range of platform dynamic motion monitoring solutions based on a simple, non-intrusive, topside fitted equipment that can be installed permanently to continuously monitor the changes in response and provide alarms when thresholds mapped against a typical platform ‘signature’ are exceeded.
Offline solutions can be provided using standalone and portable equipment for collecting data over a shorter period. The system can detect if subsidence is occurring, and when compared to wave height, current and wind speed data, it can also be used to determine which of the environmental loads are predominant in the area.
