Onshore rigless conductor and pile installation service allows operators to drive and install conductor pipe offline before the drill rig arrives on location.
This service offering is similar to the conventional conductor driving services but includes the driving and installation of the conductor pipe offline before the drill rig arrives on location. It uses a specialist onshore rigless land frame to support the conductor pipe in its vertical position during the driving process.
On a typical project, additional lengths of pipe are welded to continue driving deeper, according to the clients’ set target depth. The pipe is then cut, leaving the client with an installed conductor pipe before the drill rig is on location. This can save critical time for the operator and achieve substantial cost savings, which makes this an effective and efficient way to install conductor pipe for onshore oil and gas wells.
