Sudhir Pai, Executive Vice President of Data and Robotics Division for Acteon will speak at IoT Tech Expo North America. IoT Tech Expo North America is a two-day conference, taking place on 5-6 October 2022, consisting of top-level content and thought leadership discussions looking at the IoT ecosystem, exploring the latest challenges, opportunities and innovations within the Internet of Things and covering the impact it has across industry sectors.
Taking place in Santa Clara, in the heart of Silicon Valley, the technology event and conference seeks to explore the latest innovations, implementations and strategies to drive businesses forward.
Sudhir Pai will take part in the panel on “Digital Twins – Leveraging New Models” on 5th October at 10:45AM (PDT). The panel will be moderated by John Carrier from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and will aim at addressing the following questions:
- Understanding where to utilise digital twin technologies – when to implement and the steps for a successful result.
- Simulation and digital twins – where does the accountability lie?
- Considering the next steps for optimisation – input as well as output data, progressing from digital twins to digital prototypes?
- How to grow the implementation of digital twins across industries.

This year is the third year Pai has been invited to speak at this world’s largest and most prestigious IoT conference. From his 30+ years of experience working in the energy and aerospace industry, Pai previously drew parallels between the subsea environment and space, both environments where “everything has to be done remotely, using automation and digital technology in areas where a human being could not go.”
