Acteon is pleased to announce the appointment of Barry Parsons as Group Chief Commercial Officer, as of May 11th, 2021.
Barry joins Acteon with over 25 years of global experience in the offshore energy industry. In 2013 he was appointed as Vice President of sales for Schlumberger’s drilling and measurements division, where he led a team of over 300 sales and marketing professionals in achieving revenues approaching $7B. Barry joined CHC Helicopter in 2015 as Senior Vice President, Sales, where he has successfully built sales capacity for this newly restructured organisation and their entry into the offshore wind farm market.
Barry’s career has led him to work and live in the USA, Canada, Norway, France, Australia, and Luxembourg. His experience will support Acteon with our new way of operating and our vision to be the preferred engineering, services and technology partner enabling energy transition across marine infrastructure industries.

Barry will be succeeding Paul Alcock, Chief Growth Officer, who will be leaving his role within Acteon in June 2021. Over the past 20 years, Paul has played a key role within Acteon’s management team and has been instrumental in the company’s acquisition, global expansion, and senior level customer engagement programmes. In addition, he has played a key role in helping with the recent CEO transition and in helping to define Acteon’s future strategy and direction.
