SATELLINE-3AS is compatible with the interface types RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485. Without changing the hardware all the parameter settings of the radio modem can be modified through the interface from a PC.
The model SATELLINE-3ASd is equipped with a LCD display of its own, which facilitates programming of the radio modem. The SATELLINE-3AS software includes a selectable error correction, which improves the functioning of the radio modem under interference.
- Interfaces RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485
- LCD display and four push buttons in 3ASd
- Error correction (FEC)
- Repeater function
- Programmable output power 10 mW…1 W
- Free Channel Scanning (FCS)
- Show message on display -feature
- Frequency tuning range +/-2 MHz from the central frequency
- Compatible with SATELLINE-3AS Epic and -EASy modems
The amount of data transferred in a local area data communications network exhibits a tendency of continuous growth. On the other hand, the average size of communications systems are increasing. SATEL’s response to these market tendencies is the SATELLINE-3AS radio modems with Message Routing. Message Routing is a feature in SATELLINE-3AS modems, which makes it easier to build up a large radio modem network. Communication is completely transparent, which makes Message Routing directly compatible for most user protocols. Even though the network can cover large areas with multiple hops and repeater stations, only one radio channel is required. Any radio modem in the network can act as a repeater station keeping infrastructure expenses low.
The SATELLINE-3AS modem is available also as a “Dual Band” version. The transceiver of the radio modem offers as an option two 2 MHz frequency bands, tuned at the factory with a maximum separation of 15 MHz between the highest and the lowest frequency. The radio modem can be reprogrammed to operate at any channel within those two bands.
High Intensity Underwater LED Lamp. The LED-K-Series lamps are available with either 2100 or 3200 lumens output and various colour temperature options.
Rated to operate at 3000m ocean depth, the lamps are manufactured with anodised Aluminium housing as standard with options for Titanium or Stainless Steel, all offering proven corrosive resistance.
The 80 diagonal wide beam angle light produced is ideal for colour video inspection of viewing tasks.
- No fragile filaments
- Rugged Construction
- Highly shock and vibration resistant
- Average lifetime greater than 100,000 hours
- Enormous “In Service” cost saving over incandescent bulbs
- Available in various colour temperatures
SeaMesh provides a high capacity wireless mesh network system between vessels operating at sea. SeaMesh can be used to exchange video, system data, voice and general network traffic between suitably equipped vessels.
The SeaMesh system is a Wireless Mesh IP communications system designed specifically for offshore operation. SeaMesh allows up to 16 vessels to share IP traffic in a wireless mesh network. A capacity of up to 8.9Mb/s is offered by SeaMesh enabling broadband communications to enabled vessels. The SeaMesh network is self forming, fluid and self healing, there is no central point of control. Each link within the SeaMesh network can be up to and over 10km* (frequency and range dependent) in distance. SeaMesh can exchange any type of typical network traffic, including voice, video and general IP.
SeaMesh consists of a rugged outdoor unit with simple mounting arrangements and a simple indoor interface unit which supplies power, network interfaces and is equipped with two IP video encoders. The indoor unit provides user feedback on network and wireless performance. The indoor and outdoor unit are connected via a single 50m cable supplied with the system. The SeaMesh is the ideal solution for connecting vessels performing combined operations such as complex drilling operations, oil spill recovery or decommissioning operations, construction projects etc.
