Spooling services
Intermoor offers spooling services across all its global bases
The spooling services include mobilisation and demobilisation of wires and ropes (steel, polyester, electric, etc) to/from vessels, cranes and rigs. These units help keep consistent tension on steel wire and other types of rope while working. Intermoor offers several sizes of spooling units ranging from 4 Te to 200 Te.
Intermoor can help identify, install or rent the proper equipment required for your next offshore mooring project.

What influences anchor selection in offshore mooring systems?
Anchor selection is one of the most important decisions in offshore mooring design. While holding capacity is a fundamental consideration, it is only one part of a much broader engineering challenge. The selected anchor can influence mooring design, installation methodology, project economics, inspection requirements and long-term system performance.

What happens when conventional TT fatigue analysis is no longer enough?
Many ageing FPSOs are operating well beyond their original design life. As operators pursue asset life extension and continued production, understanding the true fatigue condition of critical mooring components becomes increasingly important. Traditional tension-tension (TT) fatigue assessment remains a widely used approach for mooring analysis, but what happens when TT fatigue analysis alone no longer captures the full picture?
