Intermoor, Acteon’s Moorings and Anchors business line, enables safe, efficient and cost-effective station keeping across offshore energy sectors. With global reach and deep mooring expertise, Intermoor delivers engineered solutions that span the project lifecycle - from concept and design through to mooring installation, inspection and decommissioning.
Intermoor was created in 2004, from the Technip Offshore Moorings teams in Louisiana and Texas, a group of engineers, drafters and operations employees who worked together at Aker Marine in the 1990s. Most of that same team still works at Intermoor, cumulating hundreds of years of experience in the mooring and foundation business. The company started in the USA and today has three locations and over 200 people in Texas and Louisiana. It then grew overseas through the acquisition of Trident Offshore, International Moorings, IOS Norway and Bruce Anchor, companies that have been the reference in the industry for decades.
By combining technical excellence with in-house assets and logistics, Intermoor supports confident decision-making and smooth execution in floating operations worldwide.
