Acteon's internal wellbore sealing solution consists of an inflatable seal that sits on the MSC deployment mandrel and rubber bung seals which seal on the outside diameter of the hoses where they pass through the tool.
This solution has been developed in order to solve the problem of air escaping within the multi-string casing whereby perforations in the innermost casing sit above the position of the MSC tool. These perforations are made during the plug and abandonment cement process which requires holes to be made within the wellbore.
