Acteon provides onshore and offshore laboratory testing services. While offshore, we are fully equipped to perform core logging and offshore laboratory activities.
Following offshore operations, Acteon can manage the sample transportation to an accredited onshore laboratory where geotechnical engineers will oversee testing and reporting.
Common offshore laboratory testing includes but is not limited to:
- Undrained shear strength determination via laboratory vane
- Torvane
- Pocket penetrometer
- Fall cone and undrained unconsolidated triaxial test
- Point load test for rock samples
- Water content
- Unit weight
- Qualitative carbonate content
- Multi-sensor core logging.
