The Conductor Supported Minimum Offshore Structure (CoSMOS) minimal facilities platform is a low cost, lightweight alternative to traditional jacket supported structures, which is normally unmanned.
This innovative and cost-effective design solution is ideal for early production, marginal field developments and expanding existing infrastructure. CoSMOS is ideally suited to shallow water applications and can be tailored to suit specific applications using pre-engineered components or bespoke engineering design. The system is modular and uses field-proven technology to meet the ever-increasing demand for in-country content and cost and schedule efficiencies.
CoSMOS+ is a minimum facilities platform suitable for applications where the water is deeper, the environment harsher and the topside load greater.
The modular design of both CoSMOS and CoSMOS+ allows drilling and tree installation to start as design and fabrication is ongoing, therefore shortening time to first oil or gas and reducing overall project costs.
