Lubricator (BPV/ polished rod)
DRY RODS MAY BE USED FOR INITIAL BACK-PRESSURE VALVE INSTALLATION. HOWEVER, ONCE A WELL IS SUBJECT TO PRESSURE, THERE IS A REQUIREMENT FOR A POLISHED ROD LUBRICATOR TO SAFELY RETRIEVE AND REINSTALL THE BACK-PRESSURE VALVE FROM A TUBING HANGER.
Due to the varying designs of wellheads and Xmas trees, the use of polished rod lubricators must be engineered to suit each application.
Claxton can supply:
- Bespoke cross-overs to interface with swab cap assemblies
- Most sizes of 1-way and 2-way back pressure valves
- Multi-skilled personnel to operate the polished rod lubricator.
