UTEC_Geophysical Survey

Delivering business critical data using the most advanced sensors and data recording systems.

UTEC utilise analogue survey spreads providing assorted geophysical surveys.

UTEC utilises analogue survey spreads that provide the following geophysical surveys:

  • Reconnaissance surveys
  • Route surveys for cable and pipeline pre-engineering
  • Site surveys
  • Bathymetry surveys (including ports & harbours, pre and post-dredging)
  • AUV Survey.

Utilising vessels of opportunity UTEC can deploy:

  • Vessel mounted MBES (Multi-Beam Echo-Sounder) & SBES (Single-Beam Echo-Sounder)
  • Towed SSS (Side Scan Sonar), SBP (Sub-Bottom Profiling), Magnetometer USBL (Ultra-Short Baseline) tracking.

Clients receive site investigation and/or route pre-lay survey reports, charts and detailed data and images of the areas surveyed. This information is ideally suited to pre-FEED / FEED for surface and subsea construction.

UTEC’s fleet of seven AUV’s are available to support operations worldwide.
