Acteon's engineers are experts in devising bespoke solutions to help clients overcome the challenges that naturally come with deepwater subsea operations.
Deepwater operations pose many challenges including high external pressure, corrosion, sealing and extreme loads. Acteon’s engineers routinely design equipment which can be used at depths up to 3,000m. The fleet includes Nimway and Rocksteady connectors.
Our engineers have addressed deepwater challenges including seal designs for prevention of seawater ingress, buckling collapse, excessive riser tension and material selections. Product designs are verified through 3D finite element analysis to industry standards and then qualified through pressure and load testing.
