We develop standardised solutions for the construction of floating and fixed renewables facilities, thereby helping to minimise the life-cycle levellised cost of energy.

Optimisation and standardisation

Our engineers can perform coupled analyses of floating assets that account for both hydrodynamic and aerodynamic loading to provide optimised designs and high-performance asset integrity monitoring. Optimised designs combined with standardisation and, where appropriate, local fabrication of components help to drive down costs for customers while ensuring that they receive high-quality solutions.

We offer a range of specialist engineering services for unmanned minimum facilities platforms for shallow water – from concept development and front-end engineering design through to detailed engineering, fabrication and installation. Our team is at the forefront of drilling and intervention technology innovation and has extensive experience in the design and analysis of marine drilling risers and completion and workover riser systems.

Integrated solutions that deliver what customers need

Using the latest tools and techniques, and a holistic combination of structural monitoring, finite element analysis, data analytics and machine learning advanced algorithms to develop digital twins, we can predict and understand system integrity issues and help customers to overcome them. For example, our digital anomaly detection app (iCUE) enables rapid, accurate and efficient detection of structural and operational anomalies.

Our success is built on the experience and expertise of our engineers, a solid track record in resolving unique problems and the ability to scale our design capabilities when required. For example, we have conducted more than 200 completion and intervention engineering projects. These projects encompass a wide range of services, vessel types, water depths and environments, including many of the most technologically challenging deepwater and high-pressure and high-temperature wells.

Being independent of any manufacturing or installation company, we can engineer all systems as the main contractor or be a subcontractor or part of an integrated project team, or act in the capacity of a certification and verification agent.
