Claxton, a leading supplier of engineering and services for shallow-water, jackup-depth markets in subsea services group Acteon, is pleased to announce that it will deliver internal pile dredging (SPRT) for jacket decommissioning of six platforms on a Scaldis project in the Southern North Sea (SNS). Equipment was successfully loaded out from the Claxton Aberdeen base on 21st July ahead of operations starting next week. The project is scheduled to run through August.
Claxton will be providing their market-leading decommissioning equipment from the new Acteon shared facility, spanning 55,000 square feet, which they recently moved to. Claxton’s range of dredging systems are designed for the de-burial and clearance of debris, sediment and soil across a range of applications. From subsea pipeline and structure inspection, maintenance and repair to decommissioning, as well as other offshore/onshore tasks, including drill cuttings remediation and rock dump removal, our systems have been proven to withstand the harshest of marine environments.
