Mark Stevens, Business Development Manager, Acteon Integrated Solution (AIS) recently took part in the Egyptian-British Chambers of Commerce and the Department of International Trade, Trade Mission to Cairo for Infrastructure Construction. The Mission was hosted by His Excellency Gareth Bayley OBE, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
During the mission, Mark discussed Acteon’s marine construction capabilities with Ministers of the Egyptian Government and leading figures within Egypt’s construction industry. Water scarcity is a growing global issue and Egypt is taking the lead in North Africa with a significant plan to improve their water security by investing in desalination plants throughout the country; an infrastructure project which Acteon is delighted to offer its specialist services.
Through its business segments and product and service line brands, Acteon can support work in the development of desalination intake structures, port and harbour facilities, and jetty construction. The Acteon Geo-services segment provides a whole range of site assessment and engineering consultancy services, while the Acteon Foundations and Cables segment provides construction-related drilling, and grouting (including free span correction of seawater intake pipelines) and driving services.
