Acteon announces the sale of Menck, its Marine Foundations business line, to Cadeler
Acteon today announced the sale of Menck, its Marine Foundations business line, to Cadeler A/S (or “Cadeler”). The transaction marks an important milestone in Acteon’s transformation and advances our strategy to build stronger, more focused businesses serving our offshore energy customers.
Acteon’s next chapter
Over the past two and a half years, Acteon has reshaped its strategy, structure and market position, creating a stronger company built around four focused business lines. Today, we announce an important transaction resulting from that work. Cadeler has acquired Menck, accelerating Menck’s plans to grow by expanding the way it supports its customers.
With the investment of Cadeler, Menck will be better positioned to accelerate investment in its market-leading marine foundations capability and support its customers’ evolving needs. For Acteon, the transaction strengthens our ability to invest in our other business lines.
This transaction reflects the strength of our strategy and the hard work of our teams. Menck has built a strong market position, and Cadeler is well placed to accelerate its next phase of growth. Cadeler has acquired Menck
Cadeler, a leading offshore wind installation contractor and operator of the industry’s largest fleet of jack-up wind installation vessels, has acquired Menck. Menck will continue to operate as a standalone company, and our ownership will not change how we support our customers and approach projects.
Joining Cadeler marks an exciting new chapter for Menck. With Cadeler’s support, we have a strong platform to further develop our business and continue to deliver trusted solutions to our customers across the wind industry and beyond.
