The HLK-HD5 Manipulator is a heavy-duty, rugged five-function arm designed for the new breed of smaller work class ROVs.
It incorporates the HLK-2020 Continuous Jaw Rotate Mechanism which also has the unique 19mm diameter rope cutter. The arm incorporates a flange mounting to facilitate port or starboard mounting configurations on the slew plate. The slew plate is designed to enable the arm to swing across the front of the vehicle and also 30º to the outside making it also suitable as a pipeline camera platform. A rotating slew can also be used, enabling the arm to be rotated 90º from vertical to horizontal.
The Imenco 3-finger front adapter is made in high-strength stainless steel and will make an exact fit to Schilling’s Titan II/III/IV and Orion manipulators.
The front adapter assembly comes complete with an actuation plate and piston and all necessary gaskets and will replace the standard parallel grip by loosening the 6 bolts. The changeover is done in less than half an hour! A majority of the ROV operators prefer and have installed Imenco’s 3-finger jaw on their manipulator’s arms. There are over 300 Imenco jaws at work with a number of operators in the North Sea and elsewhere.
Imenco holds complete sets and spare parts in stock at all times, making delivery overnight possible. We are also holding jaw fingers and actuation bearings for Rigmaster manipulators and shearpinshafts for Schilling TII/III/IV azimuth shoulder actuator. Fishtail grips are stocked.

The master controller is preloaded with software for all standard manipulators (no EPROM required) and the software is selected by Rotary Switch. It operates on either RS-232 or RS-485 communications as a standard.
The master controller is available for TITAN 4, ORION 7P and CONAN 7P manipulators and there is also a dual-arm version available. Input is standard 90-260 VAC and the standard power consumption is 6 W start, 3 W run.

They are engineered to save time, reducing manipulator operations, so improving operational efficiencies. Can be fitted to any ROV operated 1/4 turn ball valve. Valve pressure rating is independent to actuator, works equally well on LP or HP valves.
The actuators replace traditional ROV 1/4 turn valve handles, making the operation a simple flick of a switch rather than a time wasting manipulator operation.
