The J2 Subsea ROV tooling control blocks have been designed to allow full control of auxillary tooling when fitted to an ROV.
The blocks are fitted with on/off pilot control, pressure and flow control, run down check valve and safety check valve to prevent damage to the tool if incorrectly connected to the ROV.

- Pilot on / off control
- Run down check valve
- Reverse flow check valve
- Pressure reducing versions can be coupled together allowing multiple tools to be run from same hyd supply
The Specialist Offshore Services 3 stage manifold allows the user to select 3 pre-set pressures to a tool or pump. The low rate is set by the user as well, and then using the 3 pressure valves, the user sets the required pressure levels. Can be used on torque tools, as a direction selection is also available, or just run a pump at different pressures as required.
The simple to interface custom drive manifold means that the unit can be used on a wider range of ROV’s, as it allows the user to limit pressures and flows depending on the customers hydraulic supply abilities. Unit is supplied complete with hydraulic hoses, and is very easy to set up for use in field.
- Hydraulic Input max 210bar, 100 LPM
- 3 mutually exclusive outputs, all adjustable 0-210 bar
- Pilot operated valves to select different pressures.
- Flow adjustable from 0-100 LPM
- Operational hoses supplied
- Easy adjustment of cartridges
- Gauge ports on all outputs
- Used to control torgue tools as aDCV is included on the output for both CCW/CW direction
- Used with various pumos to select 3 different pressures
- Measures 400x280x180mm, weight 5kg
The Specialist Offshore Services pipe-tracker retractor frame / TSS 440 retractor frame design allows an ROV to retract a pipe-tracker to a vertical position. Thus facilitating easier launch and recovery.
The lightweight but robust design ensures the customer that no additional buoyancy is required when operating the TSS 440 ROV mounted frame.
The retractable pipe tracker frame consists of 2 arms, slid into 2 mounting brackets. Those mounting brackets are then mounted on to the side of the ROV. Specialist Offshore Services supplies the TSS 440 retractor frame with a hydraulic control panel. Although, some ROV’s will not require this.
A custom hydraulics control panel synchronises the cylinders. So to ensure that the up and down motion of each side stays level.
The mounting options are varied and easily customised to suit any ROV. The retractor is made for use with the standard acetyl square rod with cross section dimensions 38x51mm, that is usually supplied with the pipe tracker system.
A kit is provided to allow the user to use 50x50mm square cross section glass reinforced plastic (GRP). This does not suffer from bending as much as the standard acetyl rectangular section material which is normally supplied with the pipe tracker systems.
- Weight (each arm) : 32kg in air / 25kg in Sea Water
- Weight hydraulics panel: 4kg in air / 2kg in Sea Water
- Robust design
- Fully retractable for safe ROV deployment and recovery
- Suitable to fit on a range of different ROV’s
- Available for hire

The Zetechtics range of Jupiter Subsea Control Systems have lead to the development of a range of stand-alone battery powered subsea display systems.
The Sensor Light System is designed to monitor the state or position of actuators on subsea tooling modules and installations without the need for a complex control system or datalink. Jupiter Type 1 changed the industry by offering a fresh approach to subsea control. As subsea automation increased, so did the requirements of the control system.
Previously the approach had remained the same, using an expensive and cumbersome pressure vessel to house the electronics, which controlled a seperate hydraulic valve pack.
Zetechtics lead the market by developing the Jupiter system, which combines the functions of valve pack and pressure vessel into a single oil compensated enclosure, thus reducing weight, size, interconnections and cost whilst allowing increased flexibility and functionality in a compact user friendly package.

The ICM unit is designed to be permanently mounted on an ROV or other subsea hydraulic system to continually monitor the hydraulic system fluid for both particulate and water contamination.
- Prevents unseen minor faults from developing into major contamination problems
- Provides precision fluid cleanliness results and pass / fail data for electronic maintenance records
- Several modes of operation depending on availability of spare ROV data or analogue channels
- Can operate as a stand-alone unit with only 24V power from the ROV
- Inbuilt memory stores cleanliness test results for periodic download
- Adjustable sample periods & test durations and triggered tests for pre & post dive checks
- Visual indication of the pass / fail or low flow for viewing on deck or subsea via an ROV camera
- 24V Power, interface via 4-20mA inputs or RS485 serial data link to the supplied surface software
- Lightweight titanium unit weighing 4.2 kg in air and 2.3kg in seawater
- Rated for use to 4000m water depth
The ICM presents its results via 2 simple 4-20mA outputs; one represents the NAS cleanliness standard, the other % RH (Relative Humidity). Detailed cleanliness information is also available via an RS485 serial data interface.
The RS485 interface also provides comprehensive control & setup together with detailed fluid status information on a continual basis to the ROV control system for ultimate performance
The ICM can operate as a stand-alone unit requiring only 24V, storing tests to its 4000 sample memory. To aid Deck & ROV operators a basic GO / NO GO indicator is clearly visible on the outside of the unit which can be monitored by an ROV camera.
The ICM can be set to continually or periodically conduct tests with pre-set pass parameters or conduct individual tests when commanded by an RS485 link or digital pulse from the ROV.
The ICM is compatible with common ROV hydraulic fluids either mineral oil or synthetic based. Water Glycol version available – contact Zetechtics for further information
For applications where several torque tools are to be controlled Zetechtics offer the Tool Control Valve Pack that can operate up to three torque tools with proportional pressure and flow control up to 24ltrs/min.
