Sidus Solutions’ SS251 deepwater pan and tilt assembly is a powerful robotic positioning device.
Within a small footprint, you are now able to position heavy loads with ease and high accuracy. Like the SS109, the SS251 gains its dependability and ease of maintenance through integration of reversible synchronous motors, extremely low backlash harmonic drives and precision ball bearings into a unique modular motor assembly.
This workhorse offers impressive torque ratings up 65 ft-lbs securely locked into the corrosion resistant 316 stainless steel underwater housing. The distinctive modular design, simplifies field repair to using only small hand tools. Modifications can be made to include feedback circuits and limit switches for applications where rotational information is vital.
Specialist Offshore Services supplies high-power Leak Detection LED Lamps in different kits. The lamps can be supplied, either individually with the subsea power bottle, or as a kit containing all 3 LED lamps with the subsea power bottle. Consequently we can customise the kit to suit client requirements. If information is known about the dye type or the specific excitation wavelength, we can provide the required set up.
The lamp was initially developed for a specific project, where the dye type was unknown and was of low visibility. Standard units on the market have low power LEDs and Fluorescence, which unfortunately can be easily missed when the dyes are diluted subsea.
The LEDs that Specialist Offshore Services uses, are wavelength specific 100W units with an average life of 10 – 50000 hrs. They are matched with a band pass filter of the same wavelength as the lamp to further increase excitation levels at the required wavelength
For single light choose either:
- 365 Nanometer UV (Blacklight)
- 490 Nanometer LED / FILTER
- 530 Nanometer LED / FILTER
The full kit comprises:
- 365 Nanometer UV (Blacklight)
- 490 Nanometer LED / FILTER
- 530 Nanometer LED / FILTER
- Subsea bottle (3000mtrs) c/w 3mtr cable (LED light to subsea bottle), cable tail for power (110 VAC) from ROV.
Features
- ROV Power – 110 VAC 2 amp max
- For connection to the subsea bottle a 5FMSIL cable tail is supplied
- The LED lamp has a Male 3pin MCIL connection to the subsea bottle (MCIL 3F) 3m cable supplied. The voltage from the subsea bottle is 32vdc
Following the overwhelming success of the PT3636 Hydraulic Pan & Tilt Unit, Tritech have continued to improve the design characteristics offered and have released a new improved pan and tilt unit.
The Tritech PT3636-C Hydraulic Pan & Tilt Unit has been designed to eliminate a number of potential weak points that were identified on other hydraulic pan and tilt units. Designed to be rugged, compact and reliable the PT3636-C pan and tilt unit is the ideal solution for use on ROV’s, where the harsh working environment tests equipment reliability to the limit.
All hydraulic connections for the PT3636-C pan and tilt unit are located in the mounting base, which allows the unit to be installed using rigid rather than flexible piping. By using rigid piping the system offers reduced interference and smooth operation of underwater video cameras and lights, which in turn increases the efficiency and reliability of the pan and tilt unit.
The integral mounting bracket on the PT3636-C pan and tilt unit has been designed with practical slots for band clamps. This provides a simple method for mounting numerous combinations of different sized underwater video cameras and lights.
This stylishly designed compact hydraulic pan and tilt unit has been designed to work efficiently and reliably when mounted in a restricted area.
The Tritech Super SeaSpy underwater video camera is a compact, high resolution, full colour camera with integral low voltage lighting.
Built to survive the harsh underwater inspection environment, the Super SeaSpy has been designed to be compact and rugged whilst providing high quality colour video. The Super SeaSpy incorporates a ring of white LEDs which provide uniform illumination over the field of view. The LED Engine utilises Dynamic Light Control (DLC) which automatically adjusts the lighting level to optimise video image quality, regardless of the reflectivity of work surface. This feature also helps enhance picture quality by reducing the amount of backscatter from suspended particles in the water column.
The Super SeaSpy is fitted with a water corrected lens system which optimises the picture quality by reducing radial distortion and reducing chromatic aberration.
- Robust 4,000m depth rated construction
- Dynamic or manual illumination control
- Evenly distributed beam from the LED white light engine
- Optimised optics: water corrected
- Amplified video for use with a long umbilical
