Act on certainty

Mooring seminar series

Join us for the Intermoor mooring seminar - UK

Seminar topic: How to deliver complex greenfield mooring installations

This technical seminar explores how an integrated approach to mooring design, engineering, vessel strategy, and offshore execution can reduce risk and improve project outcomes.

Date: Wednesday, 30th September 2026

Time: 08:30 – 12:00 followed by lunch

Location: Intermoor, Tern Place House, Tern Place, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, AB23 8JX

Seminar outline

Drawing on proven project experience, Intermoor's specialists will examine the complete mooring installation lifecycle, from concept development and engineering through to offshore installation and hook-up.

Attendees will gain insights into current industry trends and the challenges associated with complex greenfield developments, including deeper water developments and increasingly complex site conditions.

The seminar will also showcase collaborative vessel strategies, including alliance approaches that provide greater flexibility and certainty for floating offshore installations.

Technology and innovation spotlight

The technical sessions will showcase innovations in station keeping and heading control operations, including approaches to optimising vessel positioning to minimise non-productive time.

Participants will gain technical insight into the analysis and operation of in-line tensioning systems for deep-water mooring projects, highlighting the engineering considerations that support safe and efficient installation campaigns.
