Acteon provides the preset moorings, specialty equipment and related services to enable traditional and dynamic-positioning (DP) drilling rigs to be moored for extended periods during developmental drilling campaigns. We draw together the specialist capabilities and deep domain knowledge of our operating companies into a seamless integrated service with a single contact.
We provide the mooring equipment such as anchors, chains and cables not normally included aboard DP rigs to enable them to moor to save fuel during extended operations or where the water depth is too shallow for DP mode. Our specialist equipment, such as the Inter-M® Release and Rocksteady® connectors, enables traditional and DP rigs to disconnect from their moorings quickly for storm evasion or demobilisation at the end of drilling operations.
